It's all gotten rather demented on there now. Earlier Ian was trying to find and contact Stef Coburn's sister which turned out well... Excruciating.

This my only comment on the Stef Coburn situation.
I’m not sure what the problem is, are UK fans up in arms because they should have it, but don’t (ie they’re coming over all entitled), or because they can’t stream it for free?
As far as I know it’s still available to stream on Britbox.
I really don’t care as they should try coming here. We can’t even pay to stream it. I did notice that the support we got from UK fans when we found out the new series was going to be on Disney+ and the Classic series was removed from our Britbox was virtually non existent.
It’s pretty obvious Coburn has some major issues, but it also seems pretty obvious to anyone with a quarter of a brain that he’s revelling in the tsunami of hysteria that’s washed over UK fandom.
The whole reaction has been pretty funny from here.
I just looked and an Unearthly Child is still available to download from Apple TV. I suspect this is a streaming issue and it probably won’t affect the first season blu-ray (don’t quote me on that though, I’m not a lawyer).
Anyway I’m going to grab some more popcorn and watch the best example yet of how not to try and get someone to change their mind.
You only have to see the above exchange to realise how crazy it’s got.
If you didn’t laugh you’d probably be totally depressed about how the whole situation has panned out.

I didn’t know he created Warship.
Dad, having been in the Navy, loved that show.
I knew he was from Melbourne though.

I see Stef Coburn’s sisters name’s changed too.
No doubt he has more than one.

The twist is he's one of them (well he has got a girly name).

The twist is he's one of them (well he has got a girly name). That would be a twist. Except unlike Dressed to Kill for instance, she’s the sane one. Would explain a lot.

My favourite parts of the story are when Ian and Barbara go to the junkyard and meet The Doctor and when we see the inside of the TARDIS for the first time.
There's a big twinkle in William Hartnell's eyes in the junkyard scene as he's trying to fob off Ian and Barbara in the junkyard and the bit where we see the inside of the TARDIS is phenomenal. To think we were very close to seeing this story junked.

Ian's gotten all fired up over that AUC / Steff Coburn thing again. This time I think he's gone a bit too far.
