It's all subjective, I know, but I find some of the choices here difficult to accept. Terror Of The Autons at the number 1 spot? Terror is good, but surely not better than Inferno or The Daemons or even The Green Death. And it's a bit of a drag seeing The Three Doctors practically at the the bottom and Inferno at number 10. Perhaps this is the reason: "I decided to draw up an Excel spreadsheet like a complete nerd and compile an average of what each episode rated out of 10". "Maybe we should all have a go at each Doctor’s best to worst stories".Nice idea, but I hope it's not just an excuse for you to put The Time Monster right at the very bottom of the Pertwee list and slag it off again... I’m genuinely interested in people’s good and bad stories. With The Time Monster it’s difficult when I look at Moandas and see people raving about it, but I am interested to see if anyone shares my opinion (I know Rob Shearman does) and I may not put it last. Rob Shearman may dislike The Time Monster, but he also loves The Monster Of Peladon. For every Doctor Who story that is perceived to be less than good, you're gonna have a crop of people who will leap to it's defence, for whatever reason that might be. I really enjoy The Time Monster, but I can certainly see it's failings, and for that reason I've always described it as a guilty pleasure. On the flip side, there's definitely stories that other people rave about that I scratch my head over and wonder what they can see that I don't.

Here's a confession - back in the age of VHS, The Time Monster was my least favourite Third Doctor serial. Opinions change.

Some of those videos had far, far better covers than the DVDs.

I remember my Dad picking me up from work and me getting in the car with them in a WH Smith's bag. Couldn't wait to get home and watch them.

Two excellent video purchases - in fact, I can't think of anything better to spend your wages on.

Think this would entail me following a strict ASDA Smartprice Baked Bean diet for several lifetimes I'm afraid:

Think this would entail me following a strict ASDA Smartprice Baked Bean diet for several lifetimes I'm afraid: Presumably it's bigger on the inside than the outside.

I’m sure people scratch their head over why I like The Claws of Axos. Lots of people don’t seem to like it.

Next week I'll try and find an exciting blog chronicling the size of Pert's bouffant season by season...

Next week I'll try and find an exciting blog chronicling the size of Pert's bouffant season by season... Cos we may already have an explanation for the bouffant's growth... Think I can remember hearing something similar on a DVD commentary track (Planet of the Daleks?) lol...
