Intriguing to see Ron Moody finally playing a magical wizard type figure who can travel in time and space, in perhaps a version of what his Third Doctor would have been like. (A bit chilly and frosty if this is anything to go by. I don't think we were robbed.)
With scripts by Robert Holmes too, this is a curious "ITV Doctor Who Rival" footnote. Limited by a crippling budget and very sparse "Labyrinth" sets standing in for proper locations though.

I managed to order two DVD sets of this series over the years and didn't realise it till recently (was sorting crap out) and still haven't managed to watch any of it lol. Wonder if I ever will before I snuff it... Anyway, as noted on the Attack of the Cybermen thread in the Classic Who section, the pipe organ prop thing that appeared in an episode of this series seems to have been used as a Tardis exterior in the opening episode of Attack...
