GREAT video which talks about the history of rotating space stations.
I've had a lifelong interest in space exploration, so I'm very much enjoying this video. Regarding wheel or rotating space stations with FLAT floors, 2 that come to mind are THE GREEN SLIME (1968), which is loads of fun, and MOONRAKER (1979), which is just idiotic. The latter is the worst example I can think of a total misunderstanding of artificial gravity. The film features a sequence where the station stops rotating, which cuts off the artificial gravity-- EVEN THOUGH the floor is flat, not curved! Even Irwin Allen's LOST IN SPACE did better than that, as the Jupiter 2 was shown to have a form of artificial gravity involving a FLAT floor, which must have had some kind of electronic basis-- the SAME one used a year later on The Enterprise in STAR TREK.
