1993: DOCTOR WHO - The Wilderness Years | Entertainment Express
"Doctor Who has been on hiatus for several years. With the 30th anniversary of the show approaching, and BBC 1 helmed by new Controller Alan Yentob, what are the chances of the much-loved science-fiction show making a comeback?
Andi Peters chats with some Doctor Who fans who believe that the programme is ripe for regeneration, and whose sentiments are echoed by former Doctors Jon Pertwee, Peter Davison and Colin Baker.
Selina Scott introduces his report.
This clip is from Entertainment Express, originally broadcast 2 April, 1993."

Doctor Who Actors Pitch For KTCA Channel 2 PBS Pledge Drive, March 1987
"During the March 21, 1987 "Festival" pledge drive at KTCA Channel 2 (St. Paul-Minneapolis) for Doctor Who, four clips were shown of former (and then-current) actors who played the title role, making pitches for the pledge drive. I have edited together all four appearances, including (in the order of appearance): Colin Baker (6th Doctor), Peter Davison (5th Doctor), Patrick Troughton (2nd Doctor), and Sylvester McCoy (7th Doctor). The first three clips were shot exclusively for KTCA, while the fourth clip was a more general clip used by several public TV stations.
As a side note, Patrick Troughton sadly passed away only one week after this clip was aired (on March 28, 1987), while visiting a convention in Georgia."

I remember getting a box of those Doctor Who sweets for Christmas, god they were feckin' awful... Chocolate was white (not tea-coloured like the above pic), waxy and kinda tasteless...

"Doctor Who Wallpaper""Yes, get your parents to paper the livingroom with Doctor Who Wallpaper..."And I very nearly did (well my bedroom). Foiled at the time by the local DIY/wallpaper shop only having a couple of rolls left (wasn't enough) and not being able to order anymore of it. Didn't cross my mind to buy a roll or even just nab a sample of it for posterity lol.
