Did anyone watch the Tales Of the Tardis Pyramids of Mars omnibus version ?
I only watched a bit of it at the start, but did notice that Professor Scarman's line 'Superstitious savage' was cut. No surprise.

I saw Benjamin Cockhead had tweeted that he’d done a 75 minutes butchers job on this. If it’s true and he’s not taking the piss, then it’s false advertising it’s an omnibus edition.
Can anyone confirm it’s a bowdlerised version?

Ian’s ranting, so it must be true.
Sigh, why do they do this?

Ian’s ranting, so it must be true. Sigh, why do they do this? Because they can. Ncuti's introduction contains a line about the evils of colonialism: "...an Englishman was looting the tombs of the pharaohs and disturbing the dead.."

Glad I didn't bother with it. Soon as I read Benjamin Cock edited it I knew it would be vandalised.

Australian censorship details of episode 2. Pity they didn't cut Warlock's overacting during his death scene. The other two episodes were unedited.

I'm suddenly reminded, the one time my brother and his 1st wife visited after they got married, the three of us watched THIS particular story. I don't recall if my brother had watched Jno Pertwee's stories when Philly's channel 17 ran them in the early 70s, but I'm pretty sure this was his 1st exposure to Tom Baker's Doctor.
