A half-hour supernatural anthology series adapted from real cases of the Society for Psychical Research.

1. Voice from the Gallows. Episode aired Oct 10, 1986. This plot is 'possession' by the soul of a person from the past of another person alive or of a person from the past communicating through the body of a person in the present?
2. Guardian of the Past. Episode aired Nov 5, 1986. An English tourist steals the bone of an Egyptian princess from a museum in Luxor as a souvenir and brings it home and soon her family and friends are falling prey to a curse.
3. Captain Randolph. Episode aired Jan 8, 1987. An American couple, the Scotts, visit longtime friends the Bellamys in London and are unwittingly reenacting the tragedy of Captain Randolph and Lieutenant Otis in Victorian England.
4. Serenade for Dead Lovers. Episode aired Jan 15, 1987. Actors rehearsing a play in a village hall experience the echoes of a wartime tragedy and its poignant conclusion.
5. Suffer Little Children. Episode aired Jan 22, 1987. On a visit to England to scatter her late mother's ashes, Lee sees the ghost of a little boy calling for his mother and unravels a mystery going back thirty years and affecting her own past.
6. The Barrington Case. Episode aired Jan 29, 1987. Paranormalist David Jordan calls on retired barrister Clifford Barrington about a ghost sighting he had many years ago while his photographer Samantha keeps having visions of Barrington's late first wife warning her.
7. The Haunted Garden. Episode aired Feb 5, 1987. A dying young Englishwoman falls in love with a mysterious American pilot, whom other people cannot see.
8. The Black Tomb. Episode aired Feb 12, 1987. On holiday in England, an aging American actress is stalked by a sinister cloaked figure.
9. The Eye of Yemanja. Episode aired Apr 30, 1987. Fashion model Suzy brings home a Brazilian idol she finds washed up on the beach and soon bad things are happening to her.
10. Undying Love. Episode aired Jul 28, 1987. After a young boy dies of diphtheria, a medium tells his family that his spirit has an urgent message so they consult the Society for Psychical Research where they soon learn what the boy is trying to say.
11. Oliver's Ghost. Episode aired Apr 19, 1988. Sir Oliver has turned his stately home into a bed-and-breakfast lodge. But one mysterious "guest" is unwelcome.
12. Reflections of Evil. Episode aired Jul 26, 1988. A young girl is possessed and causes severe poltergeist attacks.
13. Home. Episode aired Aug 2, 1988. A woman, her daughter, and her mother-in-law are plagued with poltergeist activity inside an old farmhouse, but is it the house....or something far worse?

A series that'd completely passed me by until today... Got some pretty good guest stars in them by the looks of it, Darren McGavin, Karen Black, Judi Bowker, Michael Jayston, Bernard Kay, Denholm Elliott, David Warner, Ed Bishop and some other familiar faces...
