I think my favourite TARDIS console, from every era of Who, both classic and shite NuPoo, is the Perters one.
Just like the colour and rotor and evrythunk.

I don't like the centre column compared to the original, which was admittedly falling/fallen to bits at the end Here's me above saying this show back then was not a kiddies show... This story to me now (I'm nearly though it) is the first time I'm seriously aware of a dumbed down over-simplified script vibe. Maybe it's just me... The Daemons next - I remember this upcoming one with great fondness, both at the time and on video years later I think i still have the follow up video in storage too (I did keep some VHS's back, such as the tins and so on)

the centre column compared to the original
I can never understand how, if someone built a prop in the first place, and they need to build a new one, they can't JUST build the new one IDENTICAL to the original! Are they designers & technicians, OR NOT?
There is (I think) a very brief scene (or am I imagining it?) where the Time Lords say they're going to send The Doctor on a mission at the start of Part One... without telling him of course... then... NOTHING interesting happens for the next 4 entire episodes. Sheesh.
THEN... "The Adjudicator" shows up. THAT BASTARD. Heh heh heh... I suppose, this is ALMOST a really dull 4-parter connected to a less-dull 2-parter... except, any time "The Company" (no, not that one) is onscreen, it's fighting like hell to REMAIN dull. Thank goodness "The Daemons" came after this.
"Captain Dent" was better in the Letts-Dicks-Baker HOUND, and he almost has no lines in that.
