Great first episode - with a lovely cliffhanger ending. After that it's the usual rebels vs. the authorities runaround. On the DVD Rob Shearman tries to make a whole case about it being a comedy that was mistakenly made as serious drama. Will have to give it another viewing from this perspective - but I am dubious.

The first episode is one of the best surviving Hartnell episodes - very eerie to see the Tardis crew staring blankly out as exhibits in the museum.
Shame about the other three episodes - things get tense when Ian tries to pick apart Barbara's cardigan. He should have asked her first - after all it was a perfectly good cardigan!
7/10

I can only concur with my esteemed colleagues.
Great first episode, then it rapidly descends into dullness.
At least, unlike The Sensorites, it’s only 3 episodes.

I guess it gives a different perspective to the Missing Episodes saga? What if The Space Museum didn’t exist?

Mostly remember this for having a young Boba Fett in it...

I really liked how Vicki was the one who got the rebellion started.
