I've read ABOUT "Lungbarrow", and am glad whatever it was was never done on TV. It's too complicated for its own good, screams "fanboy amateur" stuff to me. I prefer simple to over-complicated.
Copies go for nearly £400.00 on Ebay. Really!!!! I’ve got a copy sitting on my shelf and agree with your assessment of it.

Sorry Servo, that wasn't my assessment of Lungbarrow - I think you're responding to profh0011's views on the book. I read Lungbarrow years and years ago and quite liked it at the time, even though I usually avoid/dislike stuff about the Doctor's origins.

As I said, I've read a detailed description of the book.
NO. THANKS.

Totally dreadful claptrap.Just my opinion of course..
Tom's ego is really showing now, it's difficult for his head to scrape through the scenery doors.
Nothing against Mary Tamm, she was a very lovely lady, but I hate the character of Romana.
Two smug Timelords swanning around being superior to the plebs.
Admittedly it got worse when Lalla Ward took over.
Perhaps the stories would have worked better with a leading actor who could cut down on the ham in his performance...
IMHO...
