I can't imagine that this story will be allowed to remain non-existent forever - despite it just being an outline(?) and not a single word of scripting having been done. I reckon that there will be either a novel "based on" or "inspired by" it and/or an eventual Big Finish creation with the same title. Probably both?
Somehow...?

Ian Levine went away and, years later, made his own "reconstruction" of the story - an excerpt of which can be found from 10:45-16:03 in the video below (wot I have transcribed as best as possible)..... NB: Despite no thumbnail, the video does play.... Ian Levine's Doctor Who Recon Trailer [Missing Episodes]

Bit frustrating, imo, that Bob never started writing a script for this story. Am also leaning more to wishing he had cracked on with at least starting writing " Yellow Fever" rather than choosing to write the ( admittedly classy) novelisation of " The Two Doctors" instead.

I’ve probably said this before, but it’s a shame that they didn’t give Colin’s Doctor time to develop and grow in character. I think the plan was for him to mellow over time. All we have is just the first act, so to speak and the BBC panicked and pulled the plug before we got to the good bits.
But that’s BBC management for you. Very short sighted.

I agree - a wasted opportunity and a terrible way to treat Colin Baker. However, I'm not sure I would've wanted the 6th Doctor's character to mellow too much - I kind of liked his brashness and pomposity.

The comics stories treated him far differently, and the stories in there seemed far more imaginative.
I suppose one could say, the comics prsented a run of Colin Baker had JNT & Eric Sarward GOT THE HELL OFF the show like they should have after "The Twin Dilemma".
