Episode 4(Using Loose Cannon Recon on Dailymotion)I just realised that the Yeti - at least in this episode - has no roar. I hope no crazy fans ever dub Murray Gold corridor running shlock all over it, even as an experiment. It proves that a good tale doesn't need it imo. "Bung a rock at it!" certainly leaps out! On the whole I found this a pleasantly chatty filler episode that nonetheless manages to move the story on a little bit. I am glad that Krishong is now showing a bit of common sense and starting to understand that the Doctor and Co. are not the enemy. I like the ending too - and certainly creepy; although it did remind me of DOWNTIME, where poor Victoria is still under the spell of the Great Intelligence, making her a rather tragic figure if that story is to be accepted as canon. Which I would rather not do as I think it is largely amateurishly executed rubbish, but the central concept of Victoria - poor Victoria - having been used in this way after seemingly finding peace and happiness in FURY - and the Doctor not rescuing her from such a prolonged fate is certainly bleak.

Episode 5:
(Using Loose Cannon Recon on Dailymotion)
I like Krisongh's journey, from an out and out two dimensional idiot. suspecting our heroes to a man now filled with self-doubt and self-recrimination. Am still not missing the incidental music either. I do wonder if this was due to it being set in the self-imposed silence of a monastery, but regardless, it is quite eye-opening and down to the strong writing and good direction I think in showing that we don't always need it?
I see that Victoria spoke with the voice of the intelligence/Padders. Am hoping it turned out better, lip synching than poor old Maurice Denham's efforts in THE TWIN DILEMMA. Downtime would suggest that the Doctor's efforts to free her of the Great Intelligence with hypnotism failed, of course. Which makes me wonder if an elderly Dodo is still banging on about what W.O.T.A.N. wants deep in the English countryside at a retirement home. If you want a Time Lord who truly understands hypnotism get in The Master. The Doctor seems to be a bit useless, sadly. Tegan's probably still carrying the Mara around in her head too.

Episode 6
(Using Loose Cannon Recon on Dailymotion)
Have never really focused on this story and watched it properly - and don't really remember the novelisation - so had no idea that Krihsong bit the dust. A bit sad really as he proved himself to be a decent bloke in the end, although that must have been one heck of a thud on his head for him to expire from it.
The characters banging on about "The Master" always raises a smile.
Victoria standing her ground and refusing to leave! Nice change.
Hate to say it, but the make up on Padders is a bit sub-par imo, with one of the telesnaps showing the obvious seperation line/join on the make up and the actor - and it resembles someone wearing a dodgy all over head mask more than it does an ancient man, to my mind.
The ending reminds me of the smashing up the control room shenanigans of THE SAVAGES. At least Jamie doesn't get a telling off this time as he later will at the end of WEB OF FEAR.
I am not convinced that the "real" Yeti at the end of the episode looked just like the robotic Yeti, no matter what the c.g.i. in this is trying to tell me. I wonder how they made it distinctive in it's own right? A mystery of the missing episodes...
A good story that proves you don't need Murray Gold - or even Dudley Simpson - music plastered all over the background for dramatic tension to be maintained. You just need a subtle howling wind, like an ever present threat.
As to most wanted episode, it's got to be this one, for finishing up the story.
